When you purchase a "Live the Dream" specialty plate above, a percentage of the proceeds go to the following:
- Sickle Cell Association of Florida (to distribute to sickle cell chapters throughout Florida)
- Community Partnership For The Homeless (Miami)
Consequently, the extra money spent by Florida drivers to secure the license plate goes back into the community toward vital services for healing those who suffer from sickle cell anemia , help curve prematurity and birth defects, help new mothers have healthier pregnancies and assist them afterward in a critical months after birth.. as the infant mortality rate in minority communities are of great concern; and also fight homelessnes and poverty. As the Dream Foundation has broaden its mission, it will seek resolution to also invest the same dollars back into the communty to more holistically impact the challenges marginalized families face.
